People are put into your life for a reason. In one way or another, it's to help you grow. And if you're truly lucky, it's more then once. I met Michelle about 16(ish) years ago when her family moved across the street. She is a pillar of strength and patience. A genuinely beautiful soul.
Michelle recently completed the Yoga Alliance 200 hour requirement for Registered Yoga Teacher through Healium Hot Yoga. Her classes are nourishing to the mind and the body. She explores the connection of breath and movement with a focus on gratitude, self-compassion, and loving kindness. Her classes are open to all levels and offer space to move safely.
I was privileged to be a part of this journey. I worked privately with Michelle for weeks and it's helped IMMENSELY with my anxiety. So much so that we did Nidra Yoga and I didn't even know the dog was barking!
Michelle is currently offering private sessions on Monday and Friday as well as yoga on Wednesday evenings from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. All classes are held at mke Mind Body Wellness located at 3174 S. Howell Avenue. Sign up for private lessons or for the class (pre-registration highly recommended as there are only 4 slots) via mindbody app. I encourage you to do so quickly. It is truly a physically and spiritually nurturing experience. Her classes offer a connection between mind, body, and breathe; mindfully flowing and connecting forms from one movement to the next with an emphasis on self-compassion. Loving Kindness and gratitude meditations will be offered at the end of each class.
